Απάντηση του Channel 4 σε διαμαρτυρία Έλληνα

Απάντηση του Channel 4 σε διαμαρτυρία μου:

Thank you for your mail regarding our recent programme Go Greek For A Week.

The three case studies used in this current affairs film, were based on what was common practice in Greece in recent years, and were used to translate, for the viewing public, the big picture behind the economic crises into real human experience by providing an insight into the country?s tax, pensions and work practices which have contributed to the country?s financial problems.

As well as these case studies, commentary was garnered via expert interviews from a range of respected financial analysts; Faisal Islam (Economic Editor, Channel 4 News), economist Vicky Price (Former Head of Government Economic Service) and Platon Tinious (Dept. Statistic & Insurance University of Piraeus) who established the patterns of tax evasion, corruption and mismanagement. Additionally, the programme did explain that these practices were common before Greece?s debt crisis came to light - but in some cases have now been overturned as a part of austerity measures.

Please be assured that your complaint has been logged and noted for the information of those responsible for our programming.

Thank you again for taking the time to contact us. We appreciate all feedback from our viewers; complimentary or otherwise.
